Judith Paton is a private practice audiologist in the San Francisco Bay Area who specializes in central auditory processing disorders (CAPD). She earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University in Psychology and her Master of Arts degree from Stanford’s School of Audiology and Speech Pathology. She has twenty five years’ experience with CAPD, and this has been the main focus of her private practice since 1989. She is also trained in AIT (Auditory Integration Training — Berard type) and has worked with hundreds of these cases since 1992.

Among Ms. Paton’s professional memberships are the American Academy of Audiology, SAIT, and NCAPD. She is a regular presenter at the LDA-CA (Learning Disabilities Association of California) Annual Conference, has done in-service training for school districts, and has spoken about CAPD to many public and private classes and groups of professionals and parents. She volunteers for LDA and has held various offices at the state and local level.
